After what felt like an eternity, Harry brought the prisoner up front. Millie was already waiting with Morgan’s personal effects, and Theo took great pleasure in replacing his items with a flourish. He smirked at John, knowing full well that the Chief’s hands were tied. John gritted his teeth, his jaw clenched tightly, as he watched Theo's every move with a mixture of anger and frustration.
“Well, boys,” Theo cackled as he slid his arms into his coat. “It’s been fun, but I gotta go.”
His exit was smooth and confident, his steps echoing on the tile floor. He moved with a practiced ease, his shoulders relaxed as if he didn't have a care in the world. His wave was nonchalant, but there was a hint of mockery in the way he held his hand. It was clear that he didn't respect the officers he was leaving behind. -- Fire in the Mountains, Episode 9
